UK CSI: Book

I have just finished reading a book written by one of the UK's leading CSI's, here is what Paul Millen has to say about his book:

"For all you CSI fans out there I have written a book about the life of a real Crime Scene Investigator. It tells my story with real case examples and what has made me tick over the past 30 years. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did writing it."

Also here is a review posted on Amazon about the book:

"This book is a carefully-prepared account of one man's career in Crime Scene Investigation in England. As you read about his progress from a junior investigator to becoming a senior manager you get an insight into just how much hard work is involved in becoming the sort of all-rounder that we would all like to see in charge of the impartial preparation of evidence. It brings out the skills, dedication, knowledge and experience required to make the grade in this very special career.

The additional ingredient that you might not expect to find is the moral courage that is sometimes needed to continue in the pursuit of the truth when so many obstacles can crop up in your way. The best accolade that we can give this author is that his book reflects the same painstaking approach that he has obviously shown in his time in assisting and working with the police force. He is generous to his colleagues in both the civil service and the various police forces for whom he has worked. He has obviously been both a strong team member and efficient team leader. As a complete outsider to his whole world I can only admire both his approach to the job and to his very successful attempt to convey this world to an ordinary member of the public"

I thoroughly recommend this book to any fan of CSI: You can order a copy of the book direct from Amazon by clicking on this link.

In addition Paul will send a personalised inscription to anybody who has bought the book, via the CSI: Fan Club (UK), simply send proof of purchase to us and we will arrange this for you.
